Standard Patch Panels are used for organising and keeping the various cords in the patch cabinet or server cabinet neatly arranged. A lot of cords are often found in the server cabinet; by keeping these cords neatly organised in the patch cabinet, mistakes are easily avoided.

Organising server cupboards with standard patch panels

On standard patch panels, an RJ45 patch cable from the switch is connected to the panel on one side. On the other side, an installation cable is then connected. In this way, a number is given to the cable.By matching this number to the number on the wall outlet in the designated room, you can quickly see which cable belongs to which room. This way, you keep your server cabinet orderly and uncluttered with standard patch panels.
