Regular patch panels are always already equipped with so-called 24 RJ45 keystone plugs. However, this is not the case with keystone patch panels.

A keystone patch panel could be seen as the frame of a regular patch panel. The advantage of a keystone patch panel is that it can be set up entirely according to your own taste and wishes. For example, you can decide yourself which ports of the patch panel should be fitted with a keystone plug. When only a small number of cables need to be concealed, this could be very convenient.

Keystone plugs

Various types of keystone plugs are available for the keystone patch panels. For example, HDMI keystone plugs and audio keystone plugs. In this way, all types of cables can be neatly arranged in a server cabinet with keystone patch panels.
