The HDMI 1.3 cable is the older brother of the HDMI 1.4 cable. The major difference between these two cables, is that an HDMI 1.3 generally cannot receive or transmit network data at a rate of 100 Mb per second. In addition, an HDMI 1.3 cable also cannot transmit 3D images.
